Chapter 11.1: Revelations

"Revelations" is the name of episode 15 of season 2 of Criminal Minds

This chapter "takes place" a couple "years" after the last chapter (or else the birthdays don’t make sense).

I was able to capture a picture of Hotchner smiling and feeling happy! This made my day!

“Hey, is this seat taken buddy?” Penelope asked

“Nope.” Hotchner reliped.

Maybe it was the age difference but Hotchner and Penelope weren’t very close. Penelope was already 24 years old and Hotchner was only 14. But Penelope still loved her little brother and she hoped that he loved her too.

Although most women my age would be upset about their birthday, I’m happy and looking forward to celebrate it with all my lovely children! Amora thought as she returned from work.

Waah, my lovely founder is growing old :(

Reid was the only one in the room when Amora blew out her candles. Amora was a little bit hurt that her other children weren’t there.

Reid could tell that she was a bit hurt.

What she doesn’t know wont hurt her, he thought as she blew out her candles.

Amora was unaware that Penelope was outside at the bar making specaility drinks for the occasion and was gonna surprise Amora with them.

As Reid took her outside, Amora smiled as she was genuinely surprised with special drinks made by her own daughter.

My children didn’t forget my birthday! They are so sweet!

Note: I was trying to throw a party and so to make the requirements I had to have hotchner and Penelope do other things so I could get “points”. That’s why I don’t have many pictures and why Hotchner and Penelope aren’t in these last two shots.

Afterwords, Amora, Penelope and Reid enjoyed cake and talked for the rest of the night.

Hotchner had to go to bed because he had an early morning.
(a made-up excuse for the lack of hotchner in the pic,  I'm a actually a terribly forgetful simmer and I forgot he was at the chess table)

While Amora was older, she still felt like a middle age women rather than a women now in her later 70s. She was still able to paint a lot and cooking wonderful meals.

Side note: She has already maxed her cooking skill just from being the only person in the house to make food LOL
~couple days later ~

Amora couldn’t believe that her middle and youngest children were growing up. Reid was gonna be 20 and her little baby, Hotcher, was gonna be a teenager!

As Amora baked her both of her sons’ birthday cakes, she began to feel sad. Her babies were almost all grown up and she knew that eventually most of them would leave the nest.

Keep it together, Amora! She told herself as she felt tears drip down her cheek.

Reid was up first. He blew out his candles and made a wish.

I wish to be the smartest man alive!

Sorry, I missed him physically blow out the candles and age up (so he is a young adult in that picture).

Hotchner was up next. He was hesitant to blow out the candles. He liked being a kid a
nd becoming a teenager scared him. He didn’t have many friends as a child and he always very afraid of going to high school.

“Come on, Hotch. Growing up isn’t so bad. Trust me.” Reid reassured him.

With that, Hotcher took a deep breath and blew out his candles.

WOoowh. This feels strange..

Hotchner felt very confident about being a teenager!

“I’m the boss!” he gloated as he took a selfie.

Side note: Argh! Zach’s weird body shape is soo strong! 2/3 of the kids have it (Penelope has it but since she is a girl, its more realisitic in my opinion). What guy has this shape?

Reid was much more humble about his appearance. He still liked the ‘studious’ style so he keep it as a young adult.

-end of chapter-
I ended this chapter here because…. REID IS THE HEIR! It was between Penelope and Reid (hotchner growing up would take too long). Penelope is just a bit too much of a clone of her mother. She does have zach’s  chin, lips? and his eye color but everything else is Amora's. I think Reid is the best mix of his parents (plus he is WAY further ahead in his aspiration). In addition, Hotcher looks pretty ugly in my opinion. I don’t know where his large face came from..

Chapter 10: Normal

"Normal" is the name of episode 11 of season 4 of Criminal Minds.

So I might have said that this chapter would be longer. It is longer that the last chapter not not by much. The next chapter (11) was going to be so long that I divided in into 2 parts.

-Start of chapter-

Reid had a terrible night’s sleep and woke up in a terrible mood.

“ARH!! I just want to go back to bed.” He growled as he made his way to his dresser.

First time I have had a sim get angry so far in this legacy!

Once Reid had finished getting dress, he asked his mother to help him with homework.

“So what exactly do you need help with?” Amora asked Reid.

“Well, I’m supposed  to write a paper about Edgar J Hoover and the FBI.” Reid replied as he started researching the topic.

“Ooh, how about conspiracy theories and stuff?” Amora pointed out.

“That sounds awesome! Thanks, mom!” Reid responded as he began to write his paper.

Amora had really begun to love painting. She still wrote books but she began to prefer painting over writing.

Later that night, Amora helped Reid complete his homework again. This time was algebra.

“Solve for x in the following equation. 2x+6= 10.” Reid read from his homework
“x =2, right mom?” Reid asked.

“Yes. Great job!” Amora answered.

Amora, Penelope and Hotchner spend some quality time at the dinner.

“So how’s your school work going you two?” Amora asked as she began to eat her dinner.

“I’m just finishing up my research paper on the effects of alcohol on teens” Penelope replied, not looking up from her notebook.

“We are learning some difficult equations in my math class and we are learning about colonial America” Hotchner mentioned as he started working on his dinner.

I hate ghosts. They are always breaking stuff! A couple days after Zach broke both the sink, shower and the computer (not pictured), I had him sent to the netherworld. I liked that Zach would talk with his family and stuff but I can't fix every appliance all the time!

Before Amora knew it, her oldest was turning 21. She spent the whole day baking her a beautiful wonderful cake.

Everyone enjoyed the delicious cake together except Hotchner. Hotchner was busy playing and doing his homework to join the family eating cake.

Another picture to show Amora’s progress on her painter extraordinaire aspiration. She is on the 3rd tier already. She has 25 paintings on display, she is in the progress of viewing 30 paintings. I think she has painted 2 excellent paintings?

Hotchner and Reid enjoy playing chess together just like Reid and Penelope do.

Hmm. Should I move my pawn or not? Maybe my knight? Hotchner pondered

He is already gonna lose, Reid thought to himself as he already knew how to win.

Amora also helps Hotchner with his homework later that night.

“When did Colombus sail the ocean blue?” Hotchner asked.

“In 1492, Columbus sailed the ocean blue.” Amora answered in a singsong voice.

Amora was very upset that she had to send Zach back to the Netherworld.

“He is completely gone and It’s my fault. I should have let him stay.” Amora cried.

“Mom. I love dad but he was causing things to break down. He isn't completely gone, mother. He lives on in your memories and in your heart.” Penelope said as she consoled her crying mother.

One has said that a family that does homework together stays together. All the Telly kids sat together at the kitchen table doing their homework or began to start their homework.

Of course, each kid enjoyed different activities.

Penelope would still make a bunch of different drinks at her bar or she would read some recipes for new drinks to make. This time, she could make drinks will alchol in them because she was finally old enough to drink!

Reid liked  doing a variety of different activities. He loved building things at the workbench, playing video games on the computer and he even started to build his own rocket ship!

Hotchner seemed to really love one thing: the pool. He spent almost all his free time swimming.

Sometimes, one or more of his family members would join him.

Amora spent most of her time paining now. She loved it and she began to admire her excellent works after she had completed them.

Aka she finally finished viewing 30 paintings and finished painting 10 excellent paintings. Thus completing the 3 tier.

While most members of the house were finally getting back into the normal swing of things,

Hotchner was still depressed about the loss of Zach.

"I love you dad and I miss you," Hotcher whispered as he sulked all the way to school.

Chapter 9: The Return

"The Return" is the name of episode 8 in season 9 of Criminal Minds. I think it is pretty good name for this chapter.

Brief Recap:
Last time, our co-founder passed away and some of the family was sad. Hotchner and Reid also grew up.

-Start of chapter-

Eventually, Amora was able to look at Zach’s grave. She sent out contractors to build a small area for Zach’s burial.

It’s the least I could do for my love. I miss you so dearly.

“I think dad would want us to enjoy life. He loved having fun and he loved causing mischief. I, for one, am gonna live my life in the fast lane. I’m gonna be the best bartender ever” Penelope ranted to Reid as she started mixing drinks at her new bar.

“I agree. However, I’m more interested in learning everything. Like everything about human interaction, sciences, and anything else I can learn.” Reid replied.

“You are such a nerd! But, I love ya!” Penelope teased.

Amora’s third child was busy sulking to join in the conversation his teenage siblings were having,

Nobody understands me. I’m alone. Reid and Penelope have each other and mom is either too depressed or busy to spend time with me. Hotchner thought as he made his way to the corner of the backyard.

Maybe, music can be my escape. Specifically, dancing and listen to music.

As Hotchner turned on the stereo, he began to feel the deep tones and smooth rhythm of the music that filled the air. He began dancing and let the music take him away. He even managed to smile and forget about the loneliness.

Hmm. This is so very interesting. I think that learning how to fix things will be a great way to help around the house. Reid thought as he read through his new skill book

As a birthday gift, Amora had given Hotchner a new room and toys. He was very excited with his dino toy. He was able to talk and share his feelings with his new friend.

“Jack, you understand me and listen to me. Thank you. You are my best friend.” Hotchner said as he hugged his dino.

Hotchner’s dino is named after Jack Hotchner from Criminal Minds. Jack is Aaron Hotchner’s son in the show.

Oh and Reid’s room got a teenage update as well!

Amora returned home from work. She had finally got her final promotion and she had become Creator of Worlds. She was finally an amazing writer and she had many books on the Sim Times Best Sellers list.  Yet, she wasn't happy.

Writing no longer fuels or excites me. I’m no longer inspired to write books. There has to be something to make me feel so inspired and creative again. Amora pondered as she made her way to her room.

In her room, she had put an old easel that she got on sale at Sim Mart.

Hmm. I could try painting? It is another way that people can express their creativity. Amora concluded.

She began with a small canvas and just starting painting whatever she felt.

That night, a familiar presence filled the air. The household felt like they were not alone..

Reid, who was playing chess, was the first to feel it. As he looked over, he saw the ghost of his father. While most people would be in denial or scared, Reid wasn't surprised and spend some time talking with his recently deceased father.

Other members of the house felt the presence and they also greeted Zach with open arms.

One night, the whole family was even able to sit together and share  a meal which had never happened before.

The whole household was happy to spend time with Zach even if it was only during the nights.

Penelope spent her free-time making drinks. She was finally able to make some pretty great drinks.

“I have got the skills!” She shouted to the empty yard.

“Shh! I’m trying to read in here!” Reid retorted from within the house.

How did he hear me? I'm not even inside.. She thought

Amora wasn't completely impressed with her paintings but she was able to sell them and earned some money from them.

While Amora was busy with her painting and Penelope was always at her bar, Reid was glued to his books. He wasn't even a huge bookworm but he desired so much knowledge. He would read whatever he could: from rocket science to logic to charisma to handiness. He wanted to know everything.

As Amora had completed her bestselling author aspiration in the last chapter, I had decided that I wanted her to be my sim to complete 2 of the 3 creative aspirations. At the beginning of this chapter, she had just started working on it and she had already completed the first tier. These pictures just shows her 2nd emotional painting completed, starting her 3rd  and that she is almost done with tier 2.

Each kid felt very differently about school…

Reid was very happy to go

I want to learn even more!

Penelope really enjoyed her artsy classes but not much else

Painting, drawing, pottery is gonna be great!

Hotchner hated it.

I don’t want to go. I have no friends there. I’ll miss Jack.

-End of chapter-
Sorry for a short chapter. The next chapters will be longer because a lot more happens.

Side note: I swear that Hotchner is like the most gloomy sim I have ever had and he doesn’t even have that trait!
