"The Return" is the name of episode 8 in season 9 of Criminal Minds. I think it is pretty good name for this chapter.
Brief Recap:
Last time, our co-founder passed away and
some of the family was sad. Hotchner and Reid also grew up.
-Start of chapter-
Eventually, Amora was able to look at Zach’s
grave. She sent out contractors to build a small area for Zach’s burial.
It’s the least I could do for my love. I
miss you so dearly.
“I
think dad would want us to enjoy life. He loved having fun and he loved causing
mischief. I, for one, am gonna live my life in the fast lane. I’m gonna be the
best bartender ever” Penelope ranted to Reid as she started mixing drinks at
her new bar.
“I agree. However, I’m more interested in
learning everything. Like everything about human interaction, sciences, and anything
else I can learn.” Reid replied.
“You are such a nerd! But, I love ya!”
Penelope teased.
Amora’s third child was busy sulking to
join in the conversation his teenage siblings were having,
Nobody understands me. I’m alone. Reid and
Penelope have each other and mom is either too depressed or busy to spend time
with me. Hotchner thought as he made his way to the corner of the backyard.
Maybe, music can be my escape.
Specifically, dancing and listen to music.
As Hotchner turned on the stereo, he began
to feel the deep tones and smooth rhythm of the music that filled the air. He
began dancing and let the music take him away. He even managed to smile and
forget about the loneliness.
Hmm. This is so very interesting. I think
that learning how to fix things will be a great way to help around the house.
Reid thought as he read through his new skill book
As a birthday gift, Amora had given
Hotchner a new room and toys. He was very excited with his dino toy. He was
able to talk and share his feelings with his new friend.
“Jack, you understand me and listen to me.
Thank you. You are my best friend.” Hotchner said as he hugged his dino.
Hotchner’s dino is named after Jack
Hotchner from Criminal Minds. Jack is Aaron Hotchner’s son in the show.
Oh and Reid’s room got a teenage update as
well!
Amora returned home from work. She had
finally got her final promotion and she had become Creator of Worlds. She was
finally an amazing writer and she had many books on the Sim Times Best Sellers
list. Yet, she wasn't happy.
Writing no longer fuels or excites me. I’m
no longer inspired to write books. There has to be something to make me feel so
inspired and creative again. Amora pondered as she made her way to her room.
In her room, she had put an old easel that
she got on sale at Sim Mart.
Hmm. I could try painting? It is another
way that people can express their creativity. Amora concluded.
She began with a small canvas and just starting
painting whatever she felt.
That night, a familiar presence filled the
air. The household felt like they were not alone..
Reid,
who was playing chess, was the first to feel it. As he looked over, he saw the
ghost of his father. While most people would be in denial or scared, Reid wasn't surprised and spend some time talking with his recently deceased father.
Other members of the house felt the
presence and they also greeted Zach with open arms.
One night, the whole family was even able
to sit together and share a meal which
had never happened before.
The whole household was happy to spend time
with Zach even if it was only during the nights.
Penelope spent her free-time making drinks.
She was finally able to make some pretty great drinks.
“I have got the skills!” She shouted to the
empty yard.
“Shh! I’m trying to read in here!” Reid
retorted from within the house.
How did he hear me? I'm not even inside..
She thought
Amora wasn't completely impressed with her
paintings but she was able to sell them and earned some money from them.
While Amora was busy with her painting and Penelope
was always at her bar, Reid was glued to his books. He wasn't even a huge
bookworm but he desired so much knowledge. He would read whatever he could:
from rocket science to logic to charisma to handiness. He wanted to know
everything.
As Amora had completed her bestselling
author aspiration in the last chapter, I had decided that I wanted her to be my
sim to complete 2 of the 3 creative aspirations. At the beginning of this
chapter, she had just started working on it and she had already completed the
first tier. These pictures just shows her 2nd emotional painting completed, starting her 3rd and
that she is almost done with tier 2.
Each kid felt very differently about school…
Reid was very happy to go
I want to learn even more!
Penelope really enjoyed her artsy classes
but not much else
Painting, drawing, pottery is gonna be
great!
Hotchner hated it.
I don’t want to go. I have no friends
there. I’ll miss Jack.
-End of chapter-
Sorry for a short chapter. The next
chapters will be longer because a lot more happens.
Side note: I swear that Hotchner is like
the most gloomy sim I have ever had and he doesn’t even have that trait!
